My name is Dennis Salzman, and I am an Auctioneer and Broker Associate serving Oklahoma with Spitler & Johnson Auction & Realty.

I began my auction career after graduating from the Missouri Auction School in 2017. Shortly after, I was given the opportunity to work with Paul Spitler, owner and founder of Spitler & Johnson. What started as assisting on individual sales quickly developed into a full-time career and a professional relationship that has greatly shaped my growth.

About a year into the business, Paul encouraged me to obtain my real estate license. Although it was not originally part of my plan, it became one of the most valuable steps in my career.

Since then, I have participated in dozens & dozens of real estate transactions involving farms, ranches, residential homes, commercial properties, and land. These have been sold through both auction and traditional listing methods. This experience reinforced an important principle: no single method fits every property or seller, and the right strategy depends on each unique situation.

To further expand my expertise, I completed the education and testing required to become a Broker Associate, passing on my first attempt. This advancement strengthened my understanding of contracts, marketing, transactions, and professional responsibility to clients.

I continue to work under my broker, Paul Spitler, alongside partner Tom Johnson and the Spitler & Johnson team. Paul has served as a mentor, teacher, and friend, and I value the opportunity to work within such a strong organization.

I believe in continuous learning. Every auction, property, and client adds to my experience and improves the service I can provide.

In addition to my work with Spitler & Johnson, I am partnering with Chad Goss to develop Shawnee Auction Company, a separate venture focused on periodic consignment auctions. My primary commitment remains with Spitler & Johnson, and I view this as an opportunity to expand my experience and sharpen my skills as an auctioneer and businessman.

The experience gained through Shawnee Auction Company directly enhances my work at Spitler & Johnson. Each additional auction strengthens my knowledge of markets, equipment values, marketing strategies, and buyer engagement. I believe growth in one area strengthens the other, ultimately benefiting every client I serve.

Above all, I value a reputation built on honesty, integrity, and hard work. The most meaningful feedback I receive is not about results, but about trust—knowing clients felt their property was handled properly and respectfully.

Whether it is a ranch, farm, home, commercial property, equipment, cattle, antiques, estate, or full business liquidation, I understand these assets often represent a lifetime of work and history.

My goal is simple: work hard, act honestly, market professionally, and deliver the best possible outcome for every client.
